Job Summary:  

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across Tompkins Solutions’ rapidly growing portfolio. This position supports full-cycle recruiting for technical, engineering, sales, consulting, project management, and leadership roles in the supply chain, automation, and industrial technology sectors. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven recruiter with a passion for building diverse, high-performing teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process from job requisition to offer acceptance, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Proactively source passive and active candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, industry networks, employee referrals, and other creative sourcing methods.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, personalized engagement, and transparent feedback throughout the hiring process.
  • Partnership with Hiring Managers: Collaborate closely with department leaders (engineering, sales, consulting, project management, and executive teams) to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Employer Branding: Represent Tompkins Solutions at career fairs, industry events, university recruiting, and online communities to enhance employer brand and attract top talent.
  • Data & Reporting: Track key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, etc.), provide regular updates to leadership, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Contribute to the development and refinement of recruiting processes, tools, and systems (including ADP or similar) to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in technical, engineering, or industrial/technology sectors (supply chain, automation, material handling, manufacturing, or consulting preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully filling hard-to-fill technical and leadership roles.
  • Strong sourcing skills with experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other advanced sourcing tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.

Job Summary:  

As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives at target clients, delivering tailored solutions that address complex intralogistics, automation, and challenges. This is a consultative sales position focused on high-value, long-cycle deals in the supply chain and automation sector.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and engage with key decision-makers at target companies in industries such as e-commerce, manufacturing, and government.

The Vice President, Consulting and Systems will provide strategic leadership for Tompkins Solutions’ consulting and systems integration practices. This senior leadership role oversees the delivery of high-value supply chain consulting services, technology assessments, software/systems implementations (WMS, WES, ERP integrations), and thought leadership in warehouse automation and digital transformation. Job Summary:  Tompkins Solutions’ Material Handling Integration Department is responsible for the design, specification, implementation and commissioning of Material Handling Systems for our clients. This position is a valued member in the collaboration and coordination process with the client and our consulting group, implementation, and integration teams. This includes providing material support to the design, pricing and installation planning efforts for conveyor and other material handling systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Lead sales efforts including site visits/audits, sales calls, generation of proposal and marketing materials and presenting to executive & management levels within client’s organization
  • Run all phases of a facility planning project as required to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper positioning of Integration services to be offered to the client
  • Leverage warehouse distribution and material handling industry knowledge and creativity to develop and compare alternative system designs that optimize the application of different material handling equipment, controls, conveyors, staging/storage, sorting equipment, etc. to meet specific operational requirements
  • Prepare or coordinate accurate, high-level proposal drawings and bills of materials
  • Lead preparation of material handling integration solution proposals, including development of detailed budgets and high-level implementation schedules
  • Transition proposed projects to Implementation phase and act as the lead engineer through the performance phase of projects supporting the Tompkins Project Manager
  • Develop bid specification documentation for various equipment suppliers for quotation, as well as lead in the supplier proposal evaluation efforts once proposals are received
  • Assist with the preparation and/or review of the proposed project’s Description of Operations documentation to facilitate the transition to the Implementation phase
  • Occasionally assist with the on-site installation duties including project management, site management coverage, testing assistance and operational training as a backup when needed
  • Help drive the continuous improvement process within the Applications Engineering Team with an eye for refining processes, defining standards and supporting continuous improvement of the overall deliverables provided by the department
  • Support the MHI department leadership in the creation of processes, documentation, and other various tasks that may require attention as the division continues to grow and evolve
  • Potential to support trade shows and various vendor/industry events, development of articles in industry periodicals and other business development support-type functions

Qualifications:

  • BS in a technical discipline (IE, ME, or equivalent experience)
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience developing material handling and conveyor/sortation system designs for fulfillment and distribution centers
  • Extensive knowledge of distribution centers, the design process and installation/integration processes
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% +/-
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills, including 3D modeling, as well as MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and delivering results for quick-turn projects with aggressive deadlines with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to process data and translate it into a fully designed warehouse distribution material handling system
  • Demonstrated abilities as a proactive problem solver (see problems before they become an issue)
  • Requires critical thinking skills, communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; ability to work with clients, management, and multidiscipline development teams
  • Possesses capacity to clearly write detailed technical documents, such as RFPs, equipment specifications, operational descriptions, etc.
